All Club fees are due and payable within 30 days of
billing
A $75.00 non- refundable payment must accompany each application. Applicants will have thirty days from the date
of the invitation to pay fees due in accordance with the current billing schedule. A single one
year deferral of invitation may be requested. Failure to respond to the invitation when issued
or failure to accept a deferred invitation will result in removal from the Waiting List
The
Waiting List will be maintained in order of receipt of application
and deposit. Applicants will be notified of their position on the
waiting list upon application and annually thereafter. The approximate waiting period is currently four years.
All applicants are urged to study
the by-laws of the Club and the Rules and Regulations prior to application. Copies of the Rules
and Regulations are available at the club in season, can be mailed upon request, or are viewable
on the club website www.westnyackswimclub.com under the “Membership” tab. The refundable
membership share is held by the Club, at no interest, and is returned to the
member upon his resignation and subsequent replacement by a new member.
We
welcome your interest in our Club. As a member-owned and governed
not-for-profit community activity, we are very proud of our
facilities and programs. With strong member interest and strict
adherence to our operating rules we have maintained the high
standards of safety, financial soundness and wholesome family fun
which have been the hallmarks of the club for over thirty five
